Dermatology Specialized Care
Our team is skilled in a wide range of specialty care, including pediatric dermatology, Mohs surgery, and more, with a range of surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. We also have several clinics focused on treating specific conditions like psoriasis, melanoma, atypical nevi clinics, and diabetes that affects the feet. We are the only dermatology group in the area to offer in-house phototherapy treatment and superior laser capabilities for psoriasis and other skin conditions.
Plastic Surgery Care
Our comprehensive plastic surgery services encompass a diverse range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including those focused on the face, breasts, and body. Our goal is to assist both women and men in enhancing their appearance and fostering a heightened sense of well-being.
Care for All Ages
Children and teens have very different skin concerns than adults and seniors. That’s why we provide specialized skin, dermatology, and cosmetic care for children, seniors, and everyone in between.
In-House Laboratory
Our on-site dermatopathology lab gives your care team access to faster results so they can provide a prompt, accurate diagnosis, and more targeted care with easy communication. And because our lab is in our department, we can offer immediate access to results and treatment recommendations.
Clinical Trials & Research
As one of only a few academic medical centers in the state, UConn Health is training the physicians of tomorrow while developing leading-edge techniques today. That includes access to clinical trials for conditions like atopic dermatitis, lupus, and psoriasis. If you’re interested in clinical trials, we can help you find one that’s right for you.
